Goodreads synopsis:
Nearly fourteen years ago, a freak virus swept across the world turning the living into the undead. Benny Imura was only a toddler, but his last memory of his parents is tainted by the image of them becoming zombies, and he blames his older brother, Tom, for not saving them.
Now Benny is fifteen, and Tom wants them to put their difficult relationship behind them and work together in the “family business”: as zombie killers. It’s the last thing Benny wants to do, but he needs a job and he thinks it’ll be an easy ride.
But when they head into the Rot and Ruin, an area full of wandering zombies, Benny soon realises that there’s more to the job than just whacking zombies. And, as he’s confronted with the truth about the world around him Benny makes the most terrifying discovery of all, that the worst monsters you can imagine might actually be human ...
Seeing as it's Halloween today, I thought I'd be faithful to the holiday, and pick a scary wishlist book from the pile, to share with you this week.
Jenny from Chocolate Chunky Munkie featured this book on one of her Wishlist Wednesday posts not too long ago, and I thought it sounded pretty good, despite my caution when it comes to zombie novels! I'm really intrigued to find out what the humans are doing that is so bad, they're considered bigger monsters than the flesh-eating zombies!
A suitably scary Wishlist Wednesday pick, I think you'll agree!

Thanks for sharing. That's not like anything I've ever read before but it sounds pretty gripping! Definitely gonna add it to my wishlist and give it a go someday :)
I'm not really into scary/horror/gory kind of books. The cover to this kind of creeps me out :) lol

Awesome choice, I've been eyeing it up for a while too
I am a big giant wimp when it comes to scary books. I have a fear of the dark so when I read scary stuff it doesn't go well haha. I have had Girl of Nightmares for months and haven't been able to read it...I will have to work on that. This one sounds very interesting!
ooh I've been eyeing this book for a while. Good choice.
