I, too, am older than the traditional, targeted YA crowd, but I love to read and write book reviews. It&#39;s always terribly intriguing to read about the unknown---in my case and in this book, witchcraft. Yes, like you, I think I&#39;d probably want to know more about the main character&#39;s process. I would want to know how she comes across in learning her powers. I think that would be key to any story!
