I have to completely disagree with this review. The worst thing about this book for me, was the representation of wolves/werewolves. I didn't find it to be anything special, and after gritting my teeth through a bunch of wankery about "alpha" wolves and the heroine taking forever to assert herself (yeah, it was character development, but seeing her start out so weak, she only manages to acquire half a level in bad-ass by the end of the book), I'm not a fan, sorry. The setting isn't interesting or original enough for me to wonder what else is happening in other corners of the world, and that and interesting characters are my main reason for reading anything in the urban fantasy genre.

I've been into this series since it first came out and I absolutely love them all! I think the only ones I haven't read are the last 2 -- Kitty's Big Trouble & Kitty's Greatest Hits. But throughout the entire series the characters have stayed fresh and interesting and an altogether fun read!

Although I think that the title and cover doesn't really catch my eye.
Wouldn't have considered picking it up without this post.
But now, it seems like something a paranormal lover cannot miss :D
